Data Entry & Filter Lab Technician

Our client, a leader in compressed air and environmental analysis for more than 30 years, is seeking a Data Entry & Filter Lab Technician to support critical laboratory testing operations. This unique hybrid role combines data entry, laboratory support, sample analysis, and shipping preparation responsibilities.

The work performed helps support industries including firefighting, healthcare, food manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, and environmental testing.

 

Responsibilities

• Examine filter membranes using a microscope and perform manual particulate counts.
• Accurately enter laboratory findings and test results into company systems.
• Weigh customer samples using precision analytical balances.
• Build shipping kits, boxes, labels, and packing materials for laboratory samples.
• Receive, process, and handle incoming materials while following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Learn laboratory procedures, testing protocols, and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory, packaging, and operational support activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Data entry skills with the ability to type at least 60 WPM.
• Comfortable working with microscopes and scientific equipment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks requiring precision and consistency.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute between two work locations.
• Ability to successfully complete a month-long onsite training program.
