Shipping Clerk - Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Support

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support inventory, shipping, receiving, and parts handling operations through the end of the year. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy.

This position supports laboratory operations that provide critical testing services for breathing air, medical air, and industrial compressed air systems used by first responders, healthcare facilities, food processing operations, and industrial customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders based on purchase orders and shipping schedules.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain scientific parts and testing equipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and product condition.
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Create shipping labels, packing slips, and shipment documentation.
• Track shipments and assist with delivery status updates.
• Learn company products, parts, inventory procedures, and shipping processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional warehouse, inventory, and logistics duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or order fulfillment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing repetitive hands-on work requiring precision and urgency.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping and inventory systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute between two work locations as needed.
• Ability to lift and move packages throughout the workday.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
