Our client is a small family-owned business in Delaware, OH that designs and manufactures the leading expeditionary tactical fuel/water pumps and distribution systems for the forward projection of power and resources in austere environments for the defense industry. Position Summary:  We are seeking a Systems Technician in Delaware, OH. You will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of systems and equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Salary, Benefits, and Advancement Opportunities: Systems Technicians start at $22 to $24 an hour based on experience. 

Shift: 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. with occasional overtime required. 

Daily Responsibilities will Include:

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.

• Process Optimization: Collaborating with engineers and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce production costs.

• System Upgrades and Installations: Installing, configuring, and testing new manufacturing systems, machinery, or software to meet production needs.

• Quality Control: Conducting inspections and tests on manufacturing systems to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment configurations, and operational procedures.

• Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, implement changes, and address issues related to manufacturing systems.

• Safety Compliance: Ensuring that manufacturing systems comply with safety regulations and implementing safety protocols.

Qualifications for Success:

• A degree or diploma in engineering, manufacturing technology, automation, or a related field is preferred but not required.

• Relevant certifications in manufacturing systems or specific equipment can be advantageous.

• Previous MOS 92W, 92F, 63S, 63B, 63Z, 63Y is preferred but not required.

• Technical expertise and proficiency in manufacturing systems, automation technologies, machinery, and control systems are desirable. 

• Problem-solving skills as demonstrated in the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in manufacturing processes and systems.

• Capability to analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement.

• Attention to detail in being meticulous in system maintenance, documentation, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in an ever-evolving manufacturing setting.

 

Candidates must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests (for some positions), references verification, drug screening (US), and required background checks (including criminal).
