Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a team that keeps production moving? We're seeking a Deburr/Clean-Up Technician for a growing manufacturing facility on 1st Shift!

💲 Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
🕒 Shift: 1st Shift

What You'll Be Doing 🔧

As a Deburr/Clean-Up Technician, you'll play a key role in preparing metal components for final production by ensuring parts meet quality standards and specifications.

✅ Clean up machined parts and welds precisely with various sizes of hand grinders and other power/hand tools
✅ Apply beveled edges to material
✅ Load, unload, and operate a large shot blasting machine
✅ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes/hoists as needed
✅ Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
✅ Maintain a clean and safe work environment
✅ Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For 👷

✔ Previous manufacturing, fabrication, grinding, or metal finishing experience preferred
✔ Experience operating power tools and hand tools
✔ Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
✔ Strong attention to detail and quality standards
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Commitment to workplace safety

Environmental Conditions 🌡️

🔹 Industrial manufacturing environment
🔹 Exposure to noise, dust, metal shavings, and vibration
🔹 May experience varying temperatures depending on season and facility conditions
🔹 Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwear

Physical Requirements 💪

🔸 Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
🔸 Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
🔸 Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and reaching
🔸 Ability to safely operate hand and power tools for extended periods
🔸 Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
🔸 Ability to work around moving machinery and equipment safely
