Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician

Location: Watseka, IL
Pay: Starting at $20+/hour, DOE

 

A growing industrial company in the Watseka area is seeking an Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician to assist with machine controls, electrical panels, and troubleshooting production equipment. This is a hands-on role working with PLCs, relays, wiring, and electrical control systems.

 

Responsibilities

• Load and change PLC programs (programming experience not required)
• Read and follow basic electrical prints and schematics
• Perform basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting
• Work inside electrical panels and control cabinets
• Assist with machine controls, relays, sensors, and related components
• Support equipment maintenance and repairs as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial electrical systems preferred
• Familiarity with PLCs and machine controls
• Ability to read basic electrical prints and wiring diagrams
• Experience working with electrical panels, relays, contactors, and controls
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
