3 month contract w/ the possibility of getting hired full time

$18/ hour to start

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, shovel, vacuum, and collect carbon fines, dust, and ordinary debris from designated floors, platforms, and other approved areas using methods and equipment authorized by the plant.
• Clean around kilns, afterburners, material handling equipment, cooling and packaging areas, and air pollution control (APC) areas only as directed and within established work boundaries.
• Support cleanup of the wet APC system exterior and surrounding work areas. Do not open, enter, dismantle, or clean the inside of process equipment unless specifically trained, authorized, and covered by the required work controls.
• Use industrial vacuums, hand tools, hoses, and other assigned cleaning equipment according to training and operating instructions. Keep tools and hoses positioned to protect walkways and equipment.
• Collect, segregate, label, and stage recovered material or waste only as instructed by plant personnel; do not decide independently whether material is reusable or waste.
• Maintain clear aisles, stairs, exits, fire protection equipment, eyewash/shower access, and access to operating controls.
