Our client in Swisher, IA is looking for Junk Removal Team Members!

Position Summary: Do you enjoy hands-on work and meeting new people? As a Junk Removal Team Member, you’ll work on a two-person truck crew to help customers clear out unwanted items. You’ll handle each job from start to finish, including assessing the load, confirming pricing, safely removing items, and closing out the sale. This is a full-time opportunity with an immediate start and potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the company truck to customer locations and park safely in driveways or on the street.
• Greet customers, confirm which items they want removed, and explain pricing before loading.
• Use a company-provided cell phone to document loads, finalize pricing, close out sales, and update routes.
• Work with your teammate to lift, move, and load items safely while making efficient use of truck space.
• Transport full loads to the landfill and unload them.
• Complete daily truck inspections and return to the shop to unload and clean the truck for the next workday.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well on a two-person crew.
• Comfortable with physical work throughout the day and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and comfort using a smartphone to document jobs and update routes.
• Valid DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate, Form MCSA-5876) required.
• Steel-toe boots required.

Hours:

• Full-time — Monday–Saturday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Part-time — Shifts are scheduled Monday through Saturday, generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Scheduled days and start times may vary by week.
• Immediate start available.

Pay:

• $18–$20 per hour
