Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a busy warehouse and manufacturing facility in New Boston, Michigan!
Are you an experienced stand-up forklift driver looking for a new warehouse or material handling opportunity? We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators with manufacturing or warehouse experience to safely operate powered industrial equipment, pick and stage customer orders, and support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Safely operate stand-up counterbalanced forklifts and double-reach trucks.
Operate electric rider pallet jacks to move and transport materials.
Pick, pull, and stage customer orders for shipment.
Load outgoing shipments and prepare products for distribution.
Use handheld RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
Scan and document inventory movements, expiration dates, and lot/serial numbers.
Move materials and products throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
Maintain inventory accuracy and follow established warehouse procedures.
Follow all forklift safety guidelines and workplace safety procedures.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 6 months of handheld scanner or RF scanner experience for inventory tracking and record maintenance.
Experience operating a stand-up counterbalanced double-reach truck.
Experience operating an electric rider pallet jack.
Ability to pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material handling procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $20.00 per hour.
Location: New Boston, Michigan.
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities.
Facility Operations: 7 days per week.
