An Edmonton client is seeking a reliable Skilled Labourer – Street Lighting to join their field crew.

Skilled Labourer – Street Lighting Highlights:

• Work as part of a field crew installing street lighting throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas
• Assist the Derrick Digger operator with installing street light bases, poles, and overhead lines
• Pull and handle electrical cable
• Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
• Perform hand shovelling, manual excavation, site cleanup, and general labour duties
• Operate a skid steer to move and haul materials as required
• Safely use basic power tools, including drills and skill saws
• Follow direction from the Foreman and support the crew with daily construction activities
• Work safely around heavy equipment, vehicles, and active construction sites
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to follow instructions safely and work as part of a crew
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English
• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset
• Skid steer experience is an asset
• Experience with basic power tools is an asset
• Experience working around heavy equipment is an asset
• Street lighting or underground utility experience is an asset

Hours & Wage:

• Full-time, year-round
• 10 hours/day, 6 days/week
• $21.00+/hour
