Inside / Outside Sales Manager

Salary: $22-$24 per hour + Commission
Schedule: Full-Time | Daytime Hours | Most Weekends Required

About the Opportunity

A well-established home recreation and outdoor living company serving the Greater Binghamton area is seeking an experienced Inside / Outside Sales Manager to lead sales efforts and support a growing team. This newly created position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while helping shape future sales operations and customer experience initiatives.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys working directly with customers, presenting solutions, closing sales, and coordinating projects from initial consultation through contract completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily inside and outside sales activities
• Assist customers with selecting products and solutions that best fit their needs
• Present proposals, review options, and complete sales contracts
• Help drive revenue growth through strong customer relationships and effective closing techniques
• Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Generate and review reports using Microsoft Office applications
• Train, mentor, and support sales team members
• Maintain accurate records and sales documentation

Qualifications

• Proven success in retail, showroom, or consultative sales
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or sales management experience
• Strong closing and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and customer relationship-building abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience working alongside construction, installation, or project-based teams is highly desirable
• Experience with CAD or design software is a plus
• Availability to work most weekends (required) with a weekday off
