Our client, a leading provider of patient care and accessibility solutions, is looking for motivated General Assembly Labourers to assist with a special project!

Responsibilities:

• Unload patient bed components and equipment from delivery trucks
• Assist with moving materials, equipment, and bed components throughout the facility
• Uncrate and unpack healthcare beds and related equipment
• Assemble long-term care beds according to provided instructions from Field Technicians
• Utilize hand tools and power tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills during assembly
• Move completed beds into designated resident rooms and installation locations
• Assist with mattress installation and final setup nearing end of project
• Break down cardboard, packaging materials, and other waste for disposal and recycling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all site safety requirements and company procedures
• Work collaboratively with technicians and team members to meet daily installation targets
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in General Labour, Assembly, Construction, Installation, or similar environments
• Able to operate hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, box cutters, power drills)
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs safely
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Bonus Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Moving, Furniture Assembly (asset)
• Strict adherence to safety practices and procedures

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $20-22 per hour
