Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and dependable Production Associates to join a large-scale manufacturing facility that produces protective foam products used for packaging and shipping. Associates will be cross-trained in multiple areas of the production process, providing opportunities to learn new skills and work with a variety of equipment.

This position involves operating production machinery, monitoring product quality, labeling finished products, and transporting materials throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment, including Expander and Molder machines.

• Load raw bead material into the Expander and monitor the expansion process.

• Transfer expanded material to the curing area for processing.

• Assist with operating molding equipment that forms expanded material into large foam blocks.

• Monitor products as they travel along the conveyor system.

• Print and apply production labels containing batch numbers, dates, and other required information.

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers.

• Safely operate a forklift to transport finished foam blocks to designated storage or shipping areas.

• Maintain accurate production records and follow work instructions.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.

• Assist in other production departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred but not required.

• Forklift experience is preferred; certification is a plus.

• Ability to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to perform basic measurements and quality inspections using calipers.

• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk throughout the shift.

• Ability to work safely around large machinery and production equipment.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
