About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Production Associate (1st Shift) for a fast-paced production and packaging facility in St. Louis, MO (63110). In this role, you will help keep active production lines running smoothly by operating packaging equipment, stocking production supplies, monitoring line flow, and stacking finished products for shipment. Paid on-the-job training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Palletizing & Stacking: Stack finished packaged cases onto pallets following established pattern guidelines and height requirements.

• Equipment Operation: Observe and operate various production machinery, including powered conveyor lines and capping equipment.

• Supply Replenishment: Keep packaging stations fully stocked with bottles, caps, sleeves, labels, tape, and corrugated boxes.

• Line Monitoring & Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging for defects; monitor active lines to spot and resolve jams, accumulation, or mispackaged items quickly.

• Minor Maintenance & Sanitation: Clean machinery and make basic adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely.

• Safety Adherence: Follow all safety rules and protocols when working around powered production equipment.

Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively understand and follow safety protocols, team instructions, and workplace signage.

• Attention to Detail: Strong visual awareness to identify line jams, packaging defects, and incorrect product labeling.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to remain on feet for full shifts, lift and stack cases, and perform repetitive hands-on packaging tasks (with or without reasonable accommodation).

• Safety & Reliability: Commitment to workplace safety guidelines, daily punctuality, reliable attendance, and reliable transportation to St. Louis, MO 63110.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and evaluations.
