Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Inventory Analyst for a manufacturing company in Farmers Branch.

This is not a desk-only inventory position. We need someone comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor, physically verifying inventory, working with raw materials and finished goods, correcting inventory discrepancies, reviewing bills of material (BOMs), and working closely with production, purchasing and operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform physical inventory counts on the manufacturing floor

• Analyze inventory, production and customer order data

• Research and correct inventory discrepancies

• Work directly with production employees to correct and consolidate raw materials and finished goods

• Review and correct bills of material (BOMs)

• Help maintain accurate inventory transactions and records

• Coordinate with production, purchasing and other departments to help prevent excess or obsolete inventory

• Move pallets, materials and products using powered industrial equipment

• Perform equipment safety checks

• Maintain accurate inventory practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous inventory control, inventory analyst or manufacturing inventory experience

• Experience working with inventory in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment

• Comfortable working both on the computer and physically on the production floor

• Experience researching and correcting inventory discrepancies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work with raw materials, components and finished goods

• BOM (Bill of Materials) experience strongly preferred

• Forklift/material handling experience

• Strong computer and data-entry skills

• Able to communicate effectively with production, purchasing and operations

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Comfortable working in a loud industrial environment that may include dirty or oily conditions

• Able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$22–$23/hour, based on experience.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just notice that inventory is wrong — you dig into it, figure out why it's wrong and help get it corrected.

You should be organized, dependable, accurate and comfortable getting out from behind the computer and working directly with the people and materials on the production floor.
