Experienced Machine Operator | All Shifts | $17/hr | Muskegon, MI

Pay: $17.00/hour + BOE

A German-based automotive manufacturer in Muskegon is looking for experienced Machine Operators for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. This is a full-time, hire-in opportunity for candidates with stamping and bending experience who are comfortable with mathematics, blueprint reading, and precision measurements. Selected candidates will receive approximately six months of specialized training on 1st shift before transitioning to their assigned shift.

Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
• 3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
• Training: Approximately 6 months on 1st shift
• Type: Full-time, hire-in opportunity

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor specialized stamping and bending equipment.
• Load materials and monitor parts throughout the production process.
• Read and interpret blueprints, hand sketches, and work instructions. 
• Use calipers, gauges, micrometers, comparators, and other precision measuring tools to verify quality. 
• Monitor finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Track production quantities and properly record scrap or spoiled material.
• Perform minor machine adjustments once trained. 
• Identify equipment issues and communicate production delays or recurring machine problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous stamping and/or bending machine operation experience
• Strong blueprint reading experience
• Comfortable working with mathematics and precise measurements
• Experience using calipers, gauges, micrometers, or similar measuring equipment
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and a solid work history
• Ability to work independently after training
• Ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout the shift and lift up to 35 lbs as needed
