Shipper/Receiver

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $24 per hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver with counterbalance forklift certification to join their team. This opportunity has the potential to become permanent.

Shipper/Receiver Highlights:

• Move and handle rolls of geotextile materials.

• Load and unload delivery trucks.

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials safely and efficiently.

• Verify incoming and outgoing materials against orders.

• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required.

• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift certification.

• Previous shipping and receiving experience is an asset.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must have reliable personal transportation.

• Strong attention to detail when verifying materials and orders.

• Excellent reliability and a strong attendance record.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have steel-toed boots, a high-visibility vest, and safety glasses.

• Background check and drug and alcohol testing may be required for permanent employment.

Hours & Wage:

• Wage: $24 per hour

• Preferred Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

• Alternative Schedule: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., if needed. 

• Employment Type: Temporary with the possibility of permanent employment.
