Job Title: Prep Cook

Schedule:
Full-Time | 5 days per week, including weekends | AM & PM shifts

Pay: $24.55 per hour

Description:
Our client is seeking a Prep Cook for a resort in Sausalito. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients and menu components for the culinary team while maintaining high standards of food quality, sanitation, and safety. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for daily meal service, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, soups, and salads.
• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties as directed by the chef.
• Organize and complete prep work for upcoming shifts and meal periods.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized workstations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and kitchen organization.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support the culinary team as needed during service.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Previous prep cook, line cook, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
