We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Cook to join the dietary team at an assisted living facility in Verona, WI! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food, helping others, and being part of a team that makes a difference in residents' daily lives.

The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, comfortable staying active throughout the shift, and able to help lead and support the Dietary Aides. Previous cooking or food service experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic!

 

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for residents across three different wings, as well as the facility cafeteria.
• Help oversee daily meal preparation and ensure meals are served on schedule.
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Support and supervise Dietary Aides throughout the shift.
• Ensure meals are properly portioned and presented.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Help coordinate meal service and ensure residents receive their meals.
• Assist with pushing meal carts and other daily kitchen duties as needed.

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday (mandatory every other weekend, with 2 days off during the week). 11am - 7pm. DO NOT apply if you cannot work weekends.

 

Pay: Starting at $20/hr, depending on expereince.
