A Manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL is seeking Machine Operators to join their team!!

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS ASSEMBLY  AND MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE

Pay Rate: 1st Shift $19.50

1st Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of press brake operation experience.
• Experience working with sheet metal.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Basic math skills, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and training documents.
• Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

 

 

 

You will have the opportunity to be cross trained in multiple departments consisting of Machine Operating and Assembly. Target of this position is the operation of a Machine to trim, punch, shape, notch, or crimp metal composite. Produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawings.

Main tasks:

• Set up and operate machines, including tooling, programs, and machine settings.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce parts accurately.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and engineering standards.
• Calculate bend locations, blank sizes, tooling requirements, and machine tonnage.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, make adjustments, and report malfunctions.
• Maintain an organized work area and collaborate with production and quality teams to maximize efficiency.
