Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Handyman / Commercial Painter for a local construction and painting company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with painting or construction experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. The position is temporary while an employee is on medical leave, but there is potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.

Position Details:

Position Type: Temporary with Potential for Long-Term Employment

What You'll Do

Perform interior and exterior painting projects
Prepare surfaces for painting, including taping and masking
Complete painting work on residential homes and new construction projects
Assist with general labor and construction-related tasks
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow safety procedures and project specifications
Use hand and power tools as needed
Assist with additional project needs as directed
 

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail
Previous residential, commercial, or new construction painting experience preferred
Construction background is highly desired
Ability to take direction and work effectively with a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
Desire to learn and contribute to project success

Residential and commercial job sites
Interior and exterior work
Physical, hands-on position involving movement throughout the day
