CDL Class A Driver | $26/Hour | Local & Regional Routes

We are hiring an experienced, dependable CDL Class A Driver to transport equipment and materials to road and oil job sites. This position is primarily local, with drivers typically returning home each night, although occasional overnight travel may be required during the slower winter season.

Pay: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with hours varying by assignment
Typical Start Time: Some assignments may begin around 3:00 a.m.
Travel: Primarily local, with occasional overnight travel
Per Diem: $80 after two days of qualifying travel

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles with manual transmissions
• Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to road and oil job sites
• Complete local and regional driving assignments as scheduled
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure loads and verify that materials are transported safely
• Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and delivery paperwork
• Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
• Communicate with dispatch and jobsite personnel regarding schedules and deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized commercial vehicle
• Remain available for early-morning starts and occasional overnight assignments

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required
• Must be experienced operating manual-transmission commercial vehicles
• Five years of CDL Class A driving experience preferred
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Current DOT medical card
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must be willing and able to complete pre-employment drug screening
• Dependable, punctual, and available when scheduled
• Comfortable with variable hours and early-morning start times
• Able to work independently and safely manage assigned routes
• Experience operating Peterbilt or International trucks is helpful

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles throughout the shift
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, climb, push, and pull as required
• Ability to inspect equipment, secure loads, and perform routine driver duties
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
