Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced CDL A and CDL B Delivery Drivers for a building supply company in West Henrietta, NY.

This position involves making local deliveries of building materials to customer job sites, safely operating company trucks, and assisting with loading and unloading materials.

The ideal candidate has previous commercial driving experience, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks, including vehicles up to 26 feet, while following DOT regulations.

• Deliver building materials to local construction sites and customer locations.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Load, unload, and properly secure materials for transportation.

• Verify deliveries against packing slips and ensure accurate orders.

• Move and stage materials at customer job sites as needed.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as trained.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Provide professional and courteous customer service.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL required.

• Minimum 1 year of consistent commercial driving experience required.

• Previous building supply or construction material delivery experience preferred.

• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and material handling equipment.

• Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided.

• Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs. and occasionally carry up to 50 lbs. while climbing ladders.

• Comfortable performing physical labor, including loading and unloading materials.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well with a team.
