2nd Shift - Stamping Press Operator

 

A local Kansas City, KS company is looking to add a Stamping Press Operator to their company! This is an evaluation hire (potential direct placement for the right candidate), with room for advancement and growth opportunities.

 

PAY: DOE

SCHEDULE: Mon – Thurs, 2:15 pm to 12:45 am

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Operates single stroke press and auxiliary equipment in a safe and correct manner.
• Performs and documents required visual and physical quality inspections as indicated by control plan/operator check sheet.
• Pushes button or depress pedal to activate machine.
• Stack, label, pack, and transport finished workpieces
• Must be safety conscience always and exercise great care regarding the equipment, materials and the safety of others and oneself.

 KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  

• Basic metal stamping knowledge
• Knowledge and use of measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
• Experience around or with stamping presses

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms to handle material
