Warehouse Technician / Hose & Conveyor Belt Fabricator

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician / Hose & Conveyor Belt Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating conveyor belts and industrial hoses to customer specifications, managing inventory, shipping and receiving products, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate, and repair conveyor belts according to customer requirements.
• Fabricate industrial and high-pressure hydraulic hoses to customer specifications.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Pick parts and prepare orders for shipping.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Deliver and pick up products as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist customers by providing excellent service and product support.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately; experience using calipers is a plus.
• Moderate math and computer skills.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Forklift experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Experience with hydraulic hose fabrication is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial products and applications, including:
  • Power transmission products
  • Hydraulic components
  • Pneumatic systems
  • Industrial cutting tools
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial distribution experience.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 75 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
• Work safely around industrial equipment and warehouse machinery.
