Public Housing Manager (Part-Time) | $20.50/hr | Temp-to-Hire

Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local housing organization for a Part-Time Public Housing Manager position.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-12:30 PM
Pay: $20.50/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a public housing community
• Conduct resident certifications and recertifications in compliance with HUD guidelines
• Collect rent, maintain resident records, and monitor delinquent accounts
• Perform move-in, move-out, annual, and special unit inspections
• Coordinate with maintenance on work orders and property upkeep
• Process resident transfers, lease documentation, and occupancy changes
• Prepare reports related to occupancy, rent collections, vacancies, and compliance
• Provide resident support and connect tenants with community resources
• Assist with eviction documentation and court-related processes when necessary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of housing management, property management, or related administrative experience
• Knowledge of HUD regulations and affordable/public housing programs preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Valid Texas driver's license required
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
