Express Employment Professionals – Mississauga North is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver for a full-time, permanent opportunity with our client in Mississauga.

Employment Type: Full-Time (Temp to Perm)
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday (Four 10-hour days)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Vehicle: Company-provided 26 Ft Box Truck

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting merchandise between Mississauga, Ottawa, and Montreal while ensuring safe, accurate, and timely deliveries. This role involves operating a company-provided 26 Ft box truck, handling merchandise, and providing professional customer service. Overnight travel and a stay in Montreal are required. The overnight stay in Montreal will be covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities

• Load merchandise at the Mississauga branch on Tuesday mornings.

• Complete scheduled delivery routes from Mississauga to Ottawa and subsequently to Montreal.

• Safely operate a company-provided 26 Ft box truck.

• Safely load, unload, and handle merchandise weighing up to 65 lbs.

• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and according to schedule.

• Stay overnight in Montreal and return to Mississauga on Friday.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is maintained in good condition.

• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.

• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

• Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.

• Clean driving record.

• Experience operating a 26 Ft box truck is preferred.

• Ability to lift and handle merchandise weighing up to 65 lbs.

• Comfortable with overnight travel and staying in Montreal.

• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
