Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including data entry, reporting, and account management.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entries.

• Experience with account reconciliations and financial audits.

• Ability to prepare and analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements.

• Experience with month-end closing and opening procedures.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily accounting transactions using QuickBooks.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) reports.

• Manage month-end closing and opening processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Monitor general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
