About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Deep Reach Forklift Specialist for a fast-paced warehouse facility in Bridgeton, MO. In this role, you will safely operate stand-up deep reach forklifts to move, stage, and store inventory in high-density, double-deep racking systems throughout narrow aisles.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Equipment: Safely maneuver deep reach forklifts and stand-up reach trucks to place and retrieve palletized stock from high double-deep racks.

• Rack & Stage Inventory: Move, stack, and stage products in narrow warehouse aisles according to designated bin locations.

• Load & Unload Freight: Handle incoming and outgoing inventory from trailers, shipping containers, and staging docks.

• RF Scanning & Tracking: Use handheld RF scanners to track inventory movements, scan barcodes, and ensure accurate counts.

• Equipment Inspections: Perform daily pre-shift safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Prior experience operating deep reach forklifts or stand-up reach trucks is required.

• Certifications: Previous forklift certification or operator card is preferred (on-site re-certification may be available).

• Scanner Literacy: Experience using handheld RF scan guns and performing basic inventory tracking.

• Safety & Reliability: Strong spatial awareness in narrow aisles, solid attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to Bridgeton, MO.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
