Location: Bushnell, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00/hour, based on experience

Speedling is seeking a skilled and dependable Senior Maintenance Technician to support our greenhouse and nursery operations. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities, irrigation systems, equipment, and operational infrastructure to ensure efficient daily operations. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and irrigation systems.
• Maintain water wells, pumps, sprinklers, piping, and water treatment equipment.
• Perform facility and greenhouse repairs and improvements.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and complete repair work orders.
• Operate welding equipment, power tools, grinders, drill presses, and other maintenance equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to source parts and services.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and equipment performance logs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
• Support operational efficiency by minimizing equipment downtime.

Skills Required

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Experience with irrigation systems and pumps.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple maintenance projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in multiple trades.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and facility repairs.
• Welding experience and irrigation system knowledge are highly preferred.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid/CPR Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
