About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a full-time Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our internal team in Maryland Heights, MO. In this role, you will recruit, screen, interview, and place skilled trade professionals—such as welders, machinists, electricians, and maintenance technicians—with local employers across the St. Louis area.

Key Responsibilities

• Find Candidates: Use job boards, social media, and local community connections to source qualified trade professionals.

• Screen & Interview: Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and job fit.

• Match & Present: Connect qualified candidates with client job openings and present candidates to hiring managers.

• Administrative Tasks: Post job listings, update the applicant database, check references, and assist with onboarding documents.

• Build Partnerships: Maintain strong relationships with candidates, employers, trade schools, and local workforce groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, sales, talent acquisition, or the skilled trades industry is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking databases.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to the Maryland Heights office.

• Willingness to complete standard background checks and onboarding requirements.
