Industrialization Project Manager (Direct Hire Opportunity)

Salary: $95,000 to $105,000/year

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an Industrialization Project Manager for a global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company in Southlake. This is a direct hire role with our client.

 

About the role
You’ll take new products from prototype to stable series production. You’ll be the main point of contact between the customer and the internal teams, and you’ll keep projects on schedule, on budget, and up to quality and regulatory standards through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

 

What you’ll do

• Manage multiple industrialization projects at once, including plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, and launch-readiness criteria
• Coordinate engineering, test, quality, planning, supply chain, document control, production, and customer service, and serve as the customer’s main industrialization contact
• Oversee prototype, pilot, and 0-series builds, and work on the production floor with operators and technicians to solve issues and stabilize production
• Make sure jigs, fixtures, tooling, equipment, work instructions, and training are ready before launch, and manage prototype requests with the tool shop
• Work with Process Engineering to improve methods, cost, throughput, first-pass yield, and process capability
• Run project reviews and readiness assessments, and report on status, risks, financials, and recovery plans
• Confirm manufacturing readiness and hand off from NPI to series production, then support the ramp-up

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field (equivalent education and experience considered)
• 5+ years in electronics, electromechanical, or advanced manufacturing, with experience in NPI, industrialization, manufacturing engineering, operations, or project leadership
• Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical assemblies, manufacturing and test processes, tooling, process validation, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment and lead teams without direct authority
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools; ERP and MES experience required, SAP/FLX preferred
• Comfortable working in both office and production settings, including standing and walking on the floor and following PPE and site safety rules
• PMP or similar certification preferred
