Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:30 AM–4:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Yard Driver / Forklift Operator for a company in Tomah, WI. This opportunity is ideal for a safety-conscious professional with a valid Class A CDL, forklift operating experience, and a background in industrial or manufacturing environments.

In this hands-on role, you will move trucks throughout the yard and between warehouse locations, operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, and assist with production, inspection, sanitation, and packaging duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Safely move semi-trucks and other trucks throughout the yard as directed by supervisors.
Operate semi-trucks on public roads to transport vehicles between warehouse locations.
Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move materials.
Assist with manufacturing and production activities as needed.
Stand on an elevated platform above a conveyor line and feed processing equipment down the production line.
Inspect equipment moving along the conveyor for imperfections, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Package parts and prepare products for shipment.
Clean, bleach, and sanitize rack components and machinery according to established procedures.
Deburr product bases to remove rough edges and imperfections.
Follow workplace safety procedures, production requirements, and supervisor instructions.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
Proficiency operating a forklift.
Recent industrial experience within the last six months is required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on production duties.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Willingness to assist with various duties as production needs require.
