General Labor / Production Associate - 1st Shift
Location: Howell & Brighton, MI
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, some weekend overtime may be required
Express Employment Professionals of Brighton is hiring General Laborers, Assemblers, and Production Associates for multiple growing manufacturing companies in the Howell/Brighton area. These are full-time opportunities with room for advancement, competitive benefits, and stable work environments.
What You'll Do
Depending on the position, job duties may include:
- Building and assembling products using hand and power tools
- Producing custom wood products, doors, frames, pallets, and packaging materials
- Operating simple production machinery
- Sorting and stacking materials
- Reading tape measures and performing basic measurements
- Using nail guns and assembly tools
- Inspecting finished products for quality
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing, construction, assembly, warehouse, or other hands-on experience preferred
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and transportation
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn

- Fast-paced production and manufacturing settings

- Some facilities are not temperature controlled
