Laboratory Technician Assistant

Job Summary

• Assist chemists with routine laboratory testing procedures
• Record, compile, and report test results accurately
• Receive, label, and properly store chemical samples
• Clean, maintain, and organize laboratory equipment and work areas
• Perform quality control measurements on raw materials and finished products using standard Quality Assurance (QA) methods
• Support various laboratory projects and additional duties as assigned
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards

Experience Required

• Minimum of a 2-year degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field (Required)
• Previous laboratory experience preferred
• Experience performing quality control or quality assurance testing is a plus
• Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and testing procedures
• Experience documenting and reporting test results accurately

Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and instruments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional reliability, dependability, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Pay: $20.00/hour
Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
