Industrial Laboratory Technician

Express Employment Professionals is looking for an Industrial Laboratory Technician  responsible for preparing, mixing, processing, and packaging laboratory materials and products according to established company procedures and quality standards. This position involves operating tableting equipment, mixing liquid and powdered chemicals, packaging prepared mixtures, and assembling sample cups using thin-film materials.

The ideal candidate is dependable, well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of performing tasks accurately and efficiently while working under moderate supervision. The ability to follow instructions, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and comply with company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations is essential.

 

Essential Duties:                                                                                                   

• Measure, weigh, and mix liquid and powdered chemicals following approved formulas and work instructions.
• Prepare, process, and package chemical mixtures and finished materials.
• Assemble sample cups by properly applying and securing thin-film materials.
• Perform routine production and laboratory tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Follow established procedures for material handling, preparation, mixing, processing, and packaging.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, material usage, and completed tasks.
• Properly clean and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and workstations.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.
• Follow all established safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report equipment malfunctions, material discrepancies, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other laboratory and production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work independently under moderate supervision.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines.
