The machine operator is responsible for setting up and operating manufacturing machinery used to produce precision abrasive wheels and components.

Primary duties include:

1. Set up and operate CNC and conventional machine tools.

2. Operate grinding, milling, cutting, shaping and profiling equipment.

3. Monitor machines during production.

4. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

5. Read blueprints, technical instructions and machine programs.

6. Make machine adjustments to maintain product quality.

7. Meet daily production goals.

8. Follow company safety procedures.

9. Maintain clean and organized work areas.

10. Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Two years of machining experience or training preferred.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Knowledge of measuring tools and basic mathematics.

• CNC or conventional machining experience preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
