Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join their precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Mazak CNC lathes while producing high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. The ideal candidate has strong Mazatrol programming experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
• Select and install tooling and fixtures for production runs
• Perform machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
• Verify products meet specifications and tolerance requirements
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow company quality and safety standards

Requirements

• 2-5 years of CNC machining experience
• Experience programming and operating Mazak CNC lathes preferred
• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol controls and programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or GED required
