Pay: $60,000+ DOE
Schedule: M-F, 8-5PM
Our client, a full-line electrical supply distributor serving the industrial, construction, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) markets, is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships throughout the Austin area.
This position is responsible for increasing sales, expanding market share, and serving as a trusted resource for customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that help customers succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new customer accounts within the assigned territory.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits, jobsite visits, and sales calls.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and support.
- Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activity.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in electrical distribution preferred.
- Experience in industrial distribution, construction, MRO, supply chain, or related industries will also be considered.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- General computer proficiency.
- Self-motivated, organized, and highly reliable.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.
