Express Employment is hiring CDL Class B driver/laborer in Laurel, MS!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class B commercial vehicles to transport and deliver lumber and building materials to customers and job sites.
• Load, unload, and properly secure lumber and other materials to ensure safe transportation and delivery.
• Assist with yard duties, including pulling orders, organizing lumber, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving lumber and building materials as needed.
• Assist customers with loading materials and provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and proper material-handling practices.

 

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Previous experience operating commercial delivery vehicles preferred.
• Experience with lumber, building materials, or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of heavy materials.
• Ability to work outdoors and assist with daily lumber yard operations.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
