Machine Operator

Salary: $19.60/hr

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced manufacturing professionals to join our team as Machine Operator. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and experience operating one or more of the following: production machinery, heavy equipment, or forklifts. This is a physically demanding role requiring employees to remain on their feet throughout the shift and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate manufacturing equipment, heavy equipment, and/or forklifts as assigned
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility
• Monitor equipment performance and identify operational issues
• Perform routine safety checks and inspections on equipment
• Follow production schedules and meet quality standards
• Read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies
• Assist with general labor duties as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience required
• Experience operating one or more of the following:
• Manufacturing machinery
• Heavy equipment
• Forklifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8 to 12-hour shift
• Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed
• 12-hour shifts may be required based on production demands
• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends when necessary
