Warehouse Operations Manager - DIRECT HIRE

Pay: $110,000 - $127,500 annually (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing material flow, driving operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams that support production and customer fulfillment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting programs, inventory audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and warehouse personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Ensure proper management of work-in-process (WIP) inventory and replenishment systems to support uninterrupted production.
• Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures, training programs, and process controls.
• Monitor operational performance using key metrics and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, space utilization, material flow, capacity planning, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Facilities to support business objectives.
• Maintain compliance with inventory control processes, documentation requirements, and audit standards.
• Support ERP system implementation, process adoption, and ongoing operational stabilization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required.
• 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, materials management, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct leadership experience managing teams and developing employees.
• Strong background in inventory management, cycle counting, physical inventories, and material flow processes.
• Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven ability to drive accountability, lead change, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SAP, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
