In this position, you'll work in both a laboratory and production environment, testing grain products to ensure they meet customer specifications and food safety standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and making an impact on product quality, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

✅ Collect grain samples from incoming trucks, storage bins, and production lines

✅ Perform quality tests including:

• Moisture analysis
• Protein testing
• Test weight evaluation
• Grain grading and inspection
• Foreign material and defect analysis

✅ Accurately record and report test results

✅ Monitor products to ensure they meet food-grade quality standards

✅ Assist with food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance programs

✅ Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment

✅ Communicate quality concerns and results with operations and management teams

✅ Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous laboratory, manufacturing, agricultural, or quality assurance experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality

Work Environment

This role offers a combination of laboratory work and plant-floor activities. Candidates should be comfortable:

• Working around grain and agricultural products
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
• Working in varying temperatures and environments
