Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Manufacturing Machine Technician for a growing manufacturing company in Newark, NJ. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience working with production machinery who understands equipment repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and mechanical adjustments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues with manufacturing and production equipment.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

• Set up, adjust, and maintain production machinery to ensure proper operation.

• Identify and repair problems involving conveyors, belts, chains, bearings, shafts, cams, and other mechanical components.

• Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, sensors, relays, and other machine components.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and work to get machinery back into production quickly.

• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and potential mechanical failures.

• Make machine adjustments and repairs to improve equipment performance and production efficiency.

• Work closely with production employees to identify equipment issues and minimize interruptions.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience working with manufacturing or production equipment.

• Experience with mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.

• Working knowledge of mechanical components such as belts, bearings, conveyors, gears, chains, and shafts.

• Familiarity with pneumatic systems, sensors, and basic electrical components is a plus.

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment.

• Ability to work independently, identify problems, and take initiative.

• Experience with production machinery, packaging equipment, printing equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery is highly desirable.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

We're looking for a hands-on problem solver! Someone who has worked around manufacturing machinery, understands how equipment operates, and can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain it. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need real experience working with production equipment and the mechanical skills to keep it running.
