Express Employment is looking for a long term Welder.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. (Hour may vary, 4/10s schedule)

Pay: $23/Hour DOE

Location: Chico, CA

Job Description:

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding on steel and metal components.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld equipment parts and structural components.
• Measure, cut, grind, fit, and prepare metal materials for welding.
• Operate welding machines, plasma cutters, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
• Repair defective welds and modify fabricated components as needed.
• Maintain proper weld sizes, alignment, and tolerances according to specifications.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work with fabrication and production teams to meet manufacturing deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

• 5 - 8 years of current experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• AG Experienced
