Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk / Forklift Operator for a logistics company located in Northeast El Paso. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and operate a sit-down forklift. Forklift certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse clerical duties, including maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to safely load, unload, move, and organize materials.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other warehouse documentation.
• Communicate with warehouse personnel, drivers, and logistics coordinators to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA forklift operating requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
• Current forklift certification preferred. Candidates must be able to demonstrate safe forklift operation and complete any required employer-specific training and evaluation.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory reports.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials as required.

Compensation

Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
