Field Service Associate (Non-CDL Driver) - Direct Hire

Our client, a reputable medical equipment provider in Englewood, NJ, is seeking a Field Service Associate (Non-CDL Driver) to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, excellent benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Position Summary

The Field Service Associate is responsible for the delivery, pickup, cleaning, and maintenance of medical equipment used by hospitals and nursing homes throughout the NYC Metro area. This position is based out of the Englewood service center and involves daily travel using a company-provided 26-foot box truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare medical equipment and required documentation for deliveries.
• Safely load, transport, and unload medical equipment.
• Operate a 26-foot box truck throughout New Jersey, New York, and New York City.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections.
• Clean and disinfect medical equipment according to company standards.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to healthcare staff and patients.
• Deliver approximately 5 to 12 hospital beds per day.
• Travel to locations including Dover, Newark, Rahway, Middletown, Hudson Valley, and NYC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical (company-paid).
• Previous professional driving experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing experience, preferably in delivery, transportation, or service-related roles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working with cleaning agents in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, plus overtime and performance bonuses.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Tuesday through Saturday
• Standard hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Rotating on-call coverage required.
• Must be flexible with start times, which may vary between 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 1:00 PM.
