Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Bedford is currently hiring on behalf of an electronics manufacturing company located in Southlake, TX, seeking an experienced Production Planner or Senior Production Planner to join their team!

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong production planning, manufacturing, and SAP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating with multiple departments to keep production operations running efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing production schedules, monitoring material availability, coordinating manufacturing resources, and ensuring production deadlines are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Hands-on SAP experience is REQUIRED for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain production schedules to meet manufacturing demands, customer requirements, and delivery deadlines.

• Utilize SAP to manage production orders, monitor materials, track manufacturing progress, and support production planning activities.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and manufacturing capacity to ensure efficient production operations.

• Monitor production schedules and make adjustments based on material availability, capacity constraints, and changing priorities.

• Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Quality Control, and Customer Service departments.

• Identify and resolve production delays, material shortages, equipment issues, and scheduling conflicts.

• Monitor production orders to ensure timely completion and adherence to established quality standards.

• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing processes.

• Analyze production data, track performance, and communicate updates to internal teams.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, manufacturing standards, and applicable ISO requirements.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with additional production planning responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficiency in SAP is REQUIRED. Candidates must have hands-on experience using SAP in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Previous experience in production planning, production scheduling, or manufacturing coordination.

• Minimum of 2 years of production material handling experience in an electronic assembly environment.

• Experience working in electronics manufacturing or electronic assembly operations.

• Familiarity with ISO requirements and manufacturing quality standards.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust production schedules as needed.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills.

• Leadership abilities and experience coordinating production activities are preferred.

Senior Production Planner Consideration

Candidates with extensive production planning experience, advanced SAP knowledge, and a strong background managing complex manufacturing schedules and cross-functional production activities may be considered for a senior-level opportunity with compensation up to $90,000 annually.

Compensation & Employment Details

• Production Planner: $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience.

• Senior Production Planner: Up to $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications.

• Employment Options: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire.
