Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician in the HDPE Department for a local netting company. This is a seasonal opportunity with the potential to become a long-term, permanent position for the right candidate. We are seeking dependable individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections and quality control checks on HDPE products.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Wash, clean, and prepare pipe products for shipment.
  • Wrap and package pipe according to specifications.
  • Bag finished products and ensure proper labeling and organization.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist with general production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing, production, quality assurance, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Forklift certification or previous forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime and Saturdays as required.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.

 

Pay: $24.00/hour

 

Schedule:

MANDATORY OVERTIME REQUIRED DURING PEAK SEASON

  • Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm
  • Friday-Saturday 6:30am-3:00pm
