Laser Water Jet Operator Needed in Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

• Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM-3:00 AM; Friday, 6-8 hour shift as needed
• Some Saturdays, approximately 6 hours depending on production demands

This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented manufacturing professional with experience in laser cutting, water jet cutting, blueprint reading, material fabrication, and machine operation. The selected candidate will create cutting files, operate precision cutting equipment, and support efficient production of high-quality fabricated parts.

Laser Water Jet Operator Responsibilities

• Create and modify cutting files for laser and water jet cutting operations
• Operate laser cutting and water jet equipment according to production specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
• Measure materials and finished parts using tape measures and other inspection tools
• Identify material types and thicknesses to ensure correct machine setup and cutting parameters
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products safely throughout the facility

Laser Water Jet Operator Qualifications

• 1-2 years of laser cutting, water jet cutting, or metal fabrication experience
• Experience creating or modifying cutting programs/files for production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient with measuring tools, including tape measures
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to obtain certification
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Flexibility to work day shift, night shift, overtime, and occasional Saturdays
