Our client in Jersey City is in need of a Facilities Cleaner on a Direct Hire basis. $20-22hr- 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment for employees and visitors. The Facilities Cleaner will be responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of office spaces, restrooms, meeting rooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize office workspaces, desks, meeting rooms, and common areas.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors as required.
Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and surfaces.
Empty waste bins and dispose of trash and recycling materials appropriately.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenishing soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
Maintain kitchen and break areas, including cleaning countertops, sinks, and appliances.
Clean glass surfaces, doors, and windows as required.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to management.
Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.

Essential
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
Desirable
Experience cleaning commercial or office environments.
Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Basic communication skills in English.
Working Conditions
May require early morning, evening, or weekend work.
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
